Pushing the door closed behind herself, Bonnie dropped her bags instantly. She knew the house was empty. No cookies in the oven, no Grams waiting for her with some snide remark only meant out of love. But Bonnie had grown accustom to such things. Being alone, doing things on her own, by herself, alone. After all of this time, she had grown to be much stronger than when the entire disaster had started. Flicking her wrist the radio turned on, something quiet with a low beat began to play. Since things had finally calmed themselves down, Bonnie traveled a lot. Began collecting different Books of Shadows... It started as a hobby, just getting them from across the country. But this last trip took her to Russia and back; so for now, the bags were staying dropped on top of each other in the doorway. She wasn't exactly expecting company anyway.
Once in the kitchen, there was another slight wave of the wrist, and the light turned on and Bonnie crossed the little kitchen to the freezer, pulling out an unopened pint of ice cream. Pulling the lid off she smiled and cross the room for a fresh spoon, digging in with a smile at her lips while she looked out the window. It was a nice day, a quiet day, a calm day, a day uninterrupted by the supernatural, by vampires and the like.
