How to Play Vampire

Who are they?

The ancient Moravia is a wonderful place. It attracts people with it's rich history, marvellous landscapes and colourful local folklore. And the specimen called Dark Ones happens to be a part of it that everyone refers as only the dark tales to scare children. Oh, little do they know. Their main homeland is Czech Republic. Moravian Dark Ones are immortals who dislikes being referred as 'vampires'. They are dark, old and brooding by all means. They hides their true self from humans in order to blend into mortal world and look as much human-like as possible. Some of them even enjoys the company of humankind (like Christian J. Dante). The Dark Ones are mostly in appearance are dark haired, the colour of their eyes varies from blue that can change it's intensity (Adrian Tomas) to beautiful amber. But off all Moravian vampires eyes are the things of beauty, mesmerizing, captivating, some even so hot that it leaves a sensation as if scorches your skin where it touches. They are sexy, hot and each one is lonely. Dark Ones are tormented. Their personalities and behaviour resembles of an alpha-male - bossy, possessive, jealous and very very protective when it comes to their soul mates. Their true origin is unknown - no one ever found out where they came from, who is the very first Dark One or how he or she was created. The Dark Moon coven is researching this currently so we might get some news soon.

Becoming a Dark One

There are three few types of how to become a Dark One.

1 - there are those who has been born to unredeemed father - it's when Dark One and his Beloved haven't completed the Joining. This was they gives a birth to a Dark One who has no soul.

2. You may as well be turned by another Dark One. It only takes to draw a person of it's blood and he/she awakes being a Dark One. But they tries not to do such things because it always strips one off its soul.

3. Do something stupid and you will be punished by a demon lord who will curse you that way taking away your soul from you. This happens quite often.

4. You can be that lucky one who has been born to parents that completed the Joining. Yes! You will have a soul then!


Talking about Soul *cough* All souls that hadn't appeared in demon's hands, are kept in Akasha. And Dark Ones cannot step into that sacred planes without a help of third person. Dark One has to Join his Beloved to regain his soul - it's easiest way. But sometimes it happens that a Dark One cannot find that only one and they does a stupid thing - they asks demon lords to find their Beloveds, promises something demon wants as repayment and well....then if they cannot achieve it, the consequences may be tragic. Let's say Your father asked demon lord Oriens to find his Beloved, Oriens asks for that an item of great power. But you for some reasons cannot do it. Oriens would take your mothers soul. If your father would disappear, you would have to do these biddings. It's all very complicated. Have in mind that a soul of a Beloved is VERY valued treasure amongst demons and beware if it is utterly pure. Such souls gives great, almost invincible power to them.


FOOD AND BLOOD Well having in mind that Dark Ones are vampires, yes they has to drink blood in order to survive. It is vital point about being one of them. Any blood is good until he Joins with his Beloved. After that, any other blood becomes poison to him and blood of Beloved will be only blood he'll can drink. And it will taste like nothing he had ever tasted. Dark Ones easily and fast grows hungry but can easily control their hunger if need be. Just be aware that feeding very often is intimate and sexually arousing. Dark Ones should be aware that they can close the wound by licking it or else your Beloved will bleed to death. Don't forget to remind her to eat extra food and lots of glucoses after you dinne casa Beloved cafe.

Food! Yes, this is very good that they CAN eat and they CAN digest humans food. Even though it gives no sustenance use, but eating food and drinking drinks helps to blend into mortals world. Thought if were recently turned, it is, by C.J. Dante, recommended to get used for blood diet first so that your system would not throw up what you ate. And don't allow yourself to starve - if you have not your Beloved beside - use animal blood for gods sake!



Beloveds.


For each male Dark One there is one and only one woman to save his soul and redeem it. The Dark Ones must not see the woman, but he instantly recognizes her. The woman might even not notice it as she recognizes him too. It's a matter of a blitz moment. The recognition strikes like the lightning from clear blue sky. Once the woman is recognized as his Beloved, he proceeds to a Joining 'ritual'. It has 7 steps and all are romantic, intimate and erotic.Once the process is finished, they are bond together for all eternity. Thought it is up to the woman if she wishes to stay with him him or not and up to him if he desires to let her go or not. There is no chance a Dark One would choose a wrong female as Beloved, thought. But if it happens that he doesn't finds her or looses her in some way - he either can choose to continue tormented existence and search for The Beloved or choose most desperate step - die by exposing himself to the sun. However, once he has a Beloved, not only that his soul is redeemed, he gains a little bit of good traits, such like slight tolerance for a sunlight, better control over his hunger. On the other hand, he cannot feed from any other person but her for other blood is poison to him. That's why he cannot exist without her. Although, a Dark One, would never hurt his Beloved because he always wants what's best for her - love, happiness, safety. Whatever it takes, he'll do anything for her. And now the interesting part...

Types of the Beloveds

1. Those who has been born and meant to be a Beloved. This one you can sense from miles away and she will sense you. Your bond will be twice stronger.

2. Those who have not been to be a Beloved but can grow to that role. The bond still would be strong, the two would still sense each other.


The Joining!

1 Step: Marking. Although we all know hat a vampire's way to mark a person is to bite it, it is not the only way to do it. In the series, it can be done mentally too. The chosen female (Beloved) can either see a vision of him during a daydream or when sleeping. It is very interesting part thought. Because the first step merges their minds, they can hear each others thoughts, she can sense him approach before he shows up, she can hear what he hears, see what he sees, feel what he feels, even taste the blood when he feeds. It all happens mostly in a form of a very realistic vision. Intensity of sensations depends on vampire's age, power level and the strength of the minds as well of a bond that Marking creates.

2 Step: Protecting a Beloved from afar. That means if your chosen female is in any kind, even the slightest, trouble - Dark One has, no, must to come to aid her. Either if to save her life, honour or just catch as she trips and falls. It all is protection in order to keep her safe.

3 Step: 1st exchange of bodily fluids. Usually this one happens to be an extremely steamy hot and passionate kiss. A kind of a kiss that can't be denied, that would make you swoon and melt your bones to jelly. Yup. Yummy.

4 Step: Entrusting Beloved. Yup, put up much of a trust into your Beloved, whatever it would takes. Usually it is giving her the means of destroying him. It can be a secret given or something else that you would think of.

5 Step: 2nd exchange of bodily fluid. Yup! That's the joy for you, all the males and guys. Because it is sex! Mostly because it almost impossible for the two to resist each other (if Beloved wants him).

6 Step: Seeking her assistance to overcome his darker self. Again, whatever it would be. This depends on each couple now. It must be something special for each of the couple, each for their own.

7 Step: Ultimate exchange that happens to be the most important - blood exchange. He tastes her, she tastes him and voila! They are Joined as one now. They are Dark One and Beloved. His soul is redeemed, his torment is over and they live happily ever forever because in reward for our sacrifice we get immortality, girls! Thought it doesn't means we become flawless as the men are. Nope.

Completion: Yes. I have found out that you may have completed 7 steps, but the Joining is never fully completed if a Beloved have not given a certain sacrifice. It's always something big and profound that she does risking with her life or soul or whatever she'd give and do willingly in order to save her beloved Dark One. Immortality is your reward for salvaging a soul. Treasure it! It is the only one thing he can really offer and grant to you after unconditional love, safity and well being.

Being Apart Strongly NOT recommended. Dark One and his Beloved cannot be parted away for one simple reason - he can't exist without her. Two day is all that you spend away from each other. Dark One has to feed from Beloved. And if he's away for way too long, hunger will slowly and very unpleasantly kill him, Beloved will have mild headaches after two or three days. Both will be nearly depressed emotionally. Beloved can survive and live without a Dark One while latter simply dies without his Beloved.
Powers/weaknesses

Common vampire traits plus something interesting. Although each Dark One repeats they just a little more than humans, they has interesting abilities. Its rare but yeah. So sometimes one can have telekinesis (if really old like Christian), each one has ability to disperse an energy of a ghost for a while, Glamour is also often common amongst them. But they rarely can use mental tricks against humans. More likely against another Dark One or a ghost.

Dark Ones can mind talk to each other if they are close, like family members or good friends. Although distance cannot be big. The only two things that can cut communication is if one is in Akasha - there all communication will be cut. Or a powerful psychic can also cut all mind talk.

Yes, they are no invincible! Sun damages them greatly and burns to ashes if they hasn't joined their Beloved ones. But garlic shall not respell them nor the holly items. This is all a myth. Though I think it all would depend on our imagination. Would be interesting to adopt some ideas from Vampire Diaries, like they'd have to be invited in to the home, and rings that allows to walk in sunlight fearlessly.

Also has to be invited if the home of yours is warded off any creatures of the dark forces. Certain plants can repel them yes but no one had actually discovered such yet. Garlic does not affect thought.

Other: How much it'd be strange, Moravian vampires CAN make their own children. Female vampires are called just Moravians and they can by only eating human food. Talking about Beloveds - they do NOT turn into the vampires, they just become immortal. Why? Because you become a vampire by either being born to unredeemed father or created by a demon lord (whatever it means).
